How should I prepare for my pet's annual appointment?
An annual exam is a standard procedure that we conduct but it is up to you to keep watch and make notes about your pet’s health and behavior. Our comprehensive full body examination of your pet will help ensure optimal health. If anything seems out of the ordinary always inform Dr. Thames, in some cases early detection of certain illnesses or conditions can be most helpful in successful treatment and recovery. If certain tests are to be performed on your pet please ask about their feeding schedule for that day. In some cases it's best not to eat before blood samples are taken. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you have.
